Door casing - with which tool?

Hello! I'm considering attempting to mitre door trim on my own.

I'm considering the following options (I don't own any of these tools yet):

- A miter box with a handsaw
- A miter box with a jigsaw
- A miter box with a multitool

I imagine a circular saw would be preferable, but if we pretend a circular saw is not available, which would you prefer?

A miter box with a fine-toothed handsaw, but you don't know anyone with a miter saw or alternatively rent one, because you'll never get the same cut as with such a saw when you cut by hand.

Miter box with fine-toothed back saw or bow saw.

Circular saw is completely out; if you are going to do it with a machine, a miter saw with a fine-toothed blade is what you need.

I would also choose a mitre box with a handsaw. (Backsaw) But it is harder than you think to achieve a nice cut. It doesn't work on the first attempts.
