Any idea what kind of material it could be? Does it look like lightweight concrete?

Best answer

Ordinary concrete from the 60s
Where have you found it?
And above all, stop reading and worrying about all sorts of things that might come up.
Blue ytong is porous and there are no visible stones in the material and it's so light that it floats

I'm a bit paranoid (small baby at home) and ignorant in the area, thank you for curing me :)

There are many other things that are more dangerous for a baby than what the house is made of.
Moreover, babies are very resilient creatures; as long as they get food, sleep, and care, they grow and thrive, blissfully unaware of their parents' worries :)

To reassure you even more, one could say that smoking is about 10 times more dangerous than elevated radon levels in your home, assuming you are already a smoker. If you're a non-smoker, you can probably live in a home with elevated radon levels without noticing it at all.
