I'm going to attach a loft bed to a drywall. And I want to find the studs behind it.

Therefore, I'm wondering if there is a standard for how wide the studs are and how close they are placed? I live in an apartment built in '93, and the wall is one of the walls next to the neighbor.

I have a stud finder but thought it might be good to double-check if it seems reasonable. The bed is not only attached to the drywall but also has legs at one end.

Stud thickness 45mm and stud spacing 600mm is common (or rather, center to center, i.e. the distance becomes 600-45).

Keep in mind that there may be steel studs there. You need the right type of screw if you are going to attach something to them, and it's a bit more risky overall with a point load.
