On the way up to the cabin, where I will lay 12 pieces of 60x60cm tiles with staggered seams, I just realized that my old tile cutter only handled 45x45 (the actual cutting handle takes 60 cm but the breaking ridge is only 50 cm, so it probably won't work?) The question is if I need to do something drastic, or can I use a stone blade on the angle grinder? I will probably need to cut around 5 pieces, and I can hide the cut behind the baseboard. So it doesn't matter if it looks a bit rough. Is it doable to do it with the angle grinder? Do I need to buy more cutting discs? How hard is it to cut with the angle grinder? I have the possibility to be outside so that's no problem.
