Borrowed a caliper from work.

That's the tip I've received since the floor is correct on the other side. Because if it varies 0.10mm on each piece over 10 pieces, it becomes 1mm.

If it's not that, then I don't know where the fault could be, and neither do the people I've talked to seem to understand. Unless it depends on the pieces.
 
Have you measured the length as well? Do you have the same variation in length?

No, I haven't done that. I used a standard caliper, so it can't measure that far.

It could be that I was a bit unlucky and got a package that differs a little, and then I was told that if you open a package, you should lay out the entire package and not just let it sit. Which I didn't know, as no one had told me.

Just checked quickly now, there is a difference of 0.05-0.10 in thickness, but only checked 3 pieces.

Well... I've had the worst luck with everything :(
The dyckert broke, turned it in, got it back, used it for 1h, then it broke again :( had to send it in again.

Then it came back and worked :) laid flooring like crazy, until the gas ran out, and my local lumberyard stopped carrying that gas. So they had to order it, and of course, Hitachi had an out-of-stock error, so I had to wait a week for it... But eventually, I could lay flooring again, so all the herringbones are done, now just need to cut around for the skirting board. Was going to do it this weekend, but Stavdal chose to close early. Which they didn't mention earlier in the week when I talked to them. So
On Monday I can continue

Yep, now it seems to be right. The issue was due to several factors. Talked to the guy I bought the floor from when I went to get some more material. Because the first one was glued, but

Simply put, I was too meticulous, even if there are gaps, it can resolve if you quickly lay, for example, another row and tap them in place. Furthermore, my floor is not completely flat, which causes the boards to adjust a bit, but now it seems to be fine. Now I'm not sure if the boards are enough for the edging strips. I'll check on that tomorrow.

I've now milled around and am about to start laying the trim, but I'm thinking of mitering all the corners, as I think it looks better.

Will it be 45 degrees? It must be, and then there should be a good line towards the corner.

Because if I, for example, miter at 48 degrees,
it can't be right, can it?

The angles must have the same angle, otherwise the length of the cuts will be different.
 
I think mitering on the frieze is overrated since it just results in a lot of small pieces. However, I have mitred the trim strips. It’s not certain that you should have 45 degrees; it depends on what angle you have between each side. Buy a protractor or check with a square to ensure it’s 90 degrees. If it is, then you miter 45 degrees. Regardless, you always divide the total angle by two. That is, if it’s 88 degrees, the miter angle will be 44.
