Hello!

I've spent two hours and numerous trial cuts trying to fit a cornice where a horizontal ceiling meets a slanted ceiling. Normally, this isn't a problem as you only need to miter the trim with half the "ceiling angle" and it turns out perfect. But at this particular spot, there are angles in all three dimensions that are driving me nuts.

-The slanted ceiling leans at 38 degrees
-The wall where the slanted ceiling meets the horizontal ceiling has an angle of 45 degrees compared to the "slanted ceiling wall"
-Unfortunately, the joint between the ceilings isn't aligned with the walls' joint, instead, it deviates about 5cm there, which adds more cuts and angles.

I believe I've tried all the options with tilting and rotating the miter saw, but the closest I've come to something that should work is the first slanted ceiling piece where I rotated the saw table 22.5 degrees and tilted the saw 26 degrees ((90-38)/2).

How should one think? Is it possible to fit a trim here? What would you have done?
