Hello, I received an order a while ago to install horizontal siding on the walls in the hallway and kitchen. Without having any direct knowledge or experience in the construction industry, I thought it couldn't be that difficult. But one of the many mistakes I made along the way was not being particularly careful with the outer corner joints. I thought there might be some corner molding to put there. But no corner molding I've found covers the joints. The boards are 21 mm plus a gap of 0-6mm. Does anyone have any tips on how I should solve this? Horizontal wall panels with visible gaps at the corner joint, related to a DIY renovation project in a hallway and kitchen.

I had built a pegboard from a 17*50 and a 17*70, similar to how it's done outdoors, but how it turns out depends a lot on how it looks around it. trim on nearby doors, ceiling molding, floor molding, etc.

Something that just covers "the ugly side"? White smooth 50 mm door casing? 30 mm architrave?
Then there are corner trims that are about 30 mm on both sides. That's probably what I would choose.

Exactly, you can use a wide trim strip to meet a wide joint strip!?

I.e., like this modified image (Not sure why it wanted to draw an arrow instead of just a line...)

Corner joint diagram with an arrow showing the alignment of a wide trim and a skirting board or molding intersection.

Or a door frame that meets a baseboard? Same principle as trim/joint strip but thicker..
