Countersunk wood screw with small head?

I am going to replace the hinges on an older door. The hinges are attached with coarse slotted screws and I would need replacement screws 6x40 - 6x60. The problem is that modern countersunk wood screws 6 mm have very wide heads, and protrude too much for the hinges to close completely. Any tips on where to buy 6 mm screws with a smaller head?

Byggfabriken is probably the easiest for a few screws. Keep in mind that sizes for these wood screws are in American non-metric standard "gauge." So you should have 14x2 for 6x50mm.
