Cost for cedar panel

Hi,

I don't know if this came under the right category, but perhaps a moderator can move it if it ended up in the wrong place.

I wonder if there is someone who has an idea about the cost of exterior cedar wood paneling, roughly speaking,
as well as what surface treatment is required and how often it needs maintenance?

I landed at about 700 SEK/sqm for what is set up. There will be some waste, so even if you find it for 500 SEK/sqm, you should probably count on about 700 SEK. Cedar requires no maintenance at all and it will last 50 years. Untreated, the cedar will turn silver gray. If you start oiling it, you should oil it every other year, I have read. The oil, therefore, does not last as well as the cedar itself. With oil, you can preserve the brown shade longer.
