Anyone know how it works with construction power? I'm going to rent a construction power cabinet, etc. Does anyone know a good place in sthlm to rent that cheaply?

Then... who connects the cabinet, etc? Vattenfall, the electrician, or how does this work?

This was apparently a tough nut to crack hehe :-/

Place the facade meter cabinet you will need later on a pole and ask an electrician to run a 380 socket at the bottom. Then you ask the power company to connect it. This way, you avoid the construction power cost—you simply run the power to a small construction distribution board until you are ready to connect the distribution board inside the house. If it's recessed, it's a bit more complicated, but nothing more than having the power company come out and reseal the installation. With this procedure, you save quite a bit of money because construction power usually is expensive...

We had to go through an electrician for this. An electrical company had to sign some kind of certificate and send it to the municipality (or was it to the electricity company?) and we couldn't do it ourselves. Then we rented the electrical cabinet from the electrical company.

But maybe it's different in different municipalities?! You should hope for a response from someone who has built without a house supplier involved - a completely self-built project.

How surprised I was when KarlXII's reply came before mine even though I was so fast! We apparently wrote at exactly the same time.

This way, you avoid the construction power cost—you simply run the power to a smaller model construction central until you're ready to connect the central inside the house.
If it is recessed, it becomes a bit more complicated, but not worse than the electric company having to come out and seal the installation again.
With this procedure, you save quite a bit of money because construction power is usually expensive...
Geez... hardly understand anything actually hehe.

We recently received a quote from Vattenfall for construction electricity, 3600:- + VAT. (an additional 14400:- for regular electricity connection)

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Ps
quote applies to Haninge municipality.

We have recently received a price estimate from Vattenfall for construction electricity, 3600:- + VAT. (then an additional 14400:- for the regular electricity connection) Installation must be done by a qualified electrician.
Is 3600:- + VAT a fee Vattenfall charges for connecting something or?

14,400:- for the installation of the cabinet?

Sorry that I seem as slow as hell... but I'm unfortunately not very well-versed with this construction electricity, cabinets, and connections ???

OK, so this is how it is:

Byggström is a temporary service provided by the electricity grid company. You rent a connection for a limited time. This connection terminates in a portable electrical cabinet. From this, you then pull cabling to your own small construction cabinet ("Biltema"). When you are done with byggström, i.e., ready to permanently connect the house, you pay a connection fee to the electricity grid company (15-20000 in densely populated areas).

What Kalle Dussin is talking about is doing this directly. Both he and I have applied the method. Many nice thousands can be saved. So you buy a facade meter cabinet (if it doesn't come with the house delivery), buy a half pole, dig it down in a suitable place and screw up the cabinet. An electrician comes there and screws up a three-phase socket under the cabinet (possibly a small central needs to be in the cabinet, you might not be allowed to connect directly to the meter. Carl, what is the case?), inspects and then sends in a completion notice to the electricity grid company that comes out and installs the electricity meter. Now you have electricity and can run a 16-amp cable to your Biltema construction cabinet. You have just saved a NUMBER of thousands for renting a byggström connection and cabinet. Fantastic, right?

What do you say
Bob made it before............... ;D ;D

Fast? It was lightning fast! :)

OK, here's the deal:

"Byggström" is a temporary service that the power network company provides. You rent a connection for a limited time. This connection is terminated in a portable power distribution box. From this, you then run cables to your own small construction power box ("Biltema").
When you're finished with the temporary power, i.e., ready to connect the house permanently, you pay the connection fee to the power network company (15-20000 in densely populated areas).

What Kalle dussin is talking about is doing this directly. Both he and I have applied this method. You can save thousands of kronor. You buy a facade meter cabinet (if it's not included in the house delivery), buy a half pole, bury it in a suitable place, and mount the cabinet. An electrician comes and installs a three-phase outlet under the cabinet (a small center might need to be in the cabinet, you might not be allowed to connect directly to the meter. Carl, what are the rules?), inspects it, and then sends in a completion notice to the power network company, which then comes out to install the meter. Now you have power and can run a 16 amp cable to your Biltema construction power box yourself. You've just saved SEVERAL thousand kronor on the rental of a temporary power connection and box. Fantastic, isn't it?
Wow. How many credits of education have you actually studied? ;)

I make a living by explaining things to people.  ;)

How was it with your installation, did you have to put a central unit in the cabinet, or ARE you allowed to connect directly to the meter?

In my own case, it wasn't relevant because we had a small building on the property where we have the electrical central + 16-amp outlet.
