Hello!
I'm working on a small garage/utility building on an agricultural property, and it's located about 10m from the house, and as I understand, it needs to achieve Ei 60.
I plan to construct the wall as follows from the outside to the inside:
Outer panel, 34*70 nail battens, wind barrier, 170mm stud frame with Hunton 170mm wood insulation, construction foil, 70mm installation space insulated with 70mm rock wool, 10mm OSB, 13mm gypsum, and finally 0.5mm metal cladding.
Is this an okay wall?

Why should you have sheet metal cladding? Sheet metal tends to become almost diffusion-tight. It is not very successful to enclose material between two tight layers without ventilation.
Want to make it safe against sparks and water splashes!
It will also be cheaper to put up metal sheets than to spackle, apply fabric, and then paint.
The metal sheet will be one that comes from Borga and is a wall sheet PP2!

What do you approximately pay per sqm for wall sheet metal?T täfteå said:
I'm considering this myself in an upcoming garage.
For the same reasons as you...

If you are going to have sheet metal, you should exclude the foil inside the wall.
