Hi, considering casting colored concrete on an existing outdoor concrete slab with a thickness of max 2-2.5 cm.
What do you think about cracking, etc., when casting so thin and what concrete quality?

Casting so thin with good results is not possible. What is the purpose of the casting? Does self-leveling compound intended as a surface layer perhaps work just as well?

Hello and thank you, I currently have tiles that are poorly laid, so the idea was to pour black concrete and polish it, or maybe polishing the slab as it is might be better?

And the purpose is simply to get a nice patio slab.
