Hello builders. I've started building a fence and today I've constructed part of the fence and driven in 3 ground anchors. The height in the picture is the full height the fence will be.
I ran into problems with 2 of the post spikes. One hit a large stone and bent, so I had to use a crowbar to get it out, which caused a larger hole. It's a bit weak, but I think it's stable enough.
The second spike hit a larger stone further up, so I had to try to dig it out.
Do I need to cast posts or can I proceed with these? The second spike feels a bit unstable, but it will extend another 4.5 meters, so maybe it will work anyway?
The fence is just to prevent my daughter from running out onto the road.

We roughly cast the spikes 12-14 years ago. We pushed down the spikes where it was possible and then cast them in concrete where we couldn't push them down. We cut one so that the spike was only about 10 cm and then stuck it into the concrete. The casting pit was made when we removed the soil over the stones.
We already had a flexible distance between the shots by making holes with a crowbar, but when the span became too long, we had to cast.

If the rest of the fence supports and the weak pickets are propped up so that everything is "reasonably" stable, I would go ahead. When everything is straight and correct, you fill in with soil around the weak pickets and pack as well as you can with a piece of board or something similar. You can also water the soil well after you have packed it so it settles even more.
The post I was most worried about is where we will attach a gate, so I removed it and redid that spear. I filled in with samkross and stenmjöl, packed it as tightly as I could, and then covered it with soil. It turned out better at least, but considering that it won't be that high, I think it will hold up quite well 🙂
