I'm looking for a polished concrete floor where you don't see the aggregate on our concrete slab. Since the surface of the slab is quite rough, there's probably no point in polishing without the aggregate showing, so the following might be an alternative that can also be done yourself.

Does anyone have experience or thoughts on this floor?

how it will look is controlled by the one who casts it, right?
For example, you have episode six of husdrömmar on svt. There he has a bare concrete floor that is carefully cast from the start.

The concrete slab is already cast.

I built with concrete floors where the ballast was not to be visible. This was a few years ago, so product development has probably advanced since then. I ended up with some cracks, which don't really bother me. What you should look into very carefully is how the surface layer should be managed. Grease stains, for example, are impossible to remove, and I have a messily slobby dog... so he has his meals outside . Unfortunately, we started this routine way too late.

Hello and thank you for the response. I was probably a bit unclear in my first post. The slab is already cast and there's not much that can be done about it. Therefore, I'm thinking of filling with "Designgolv" or a similar product and wonder if anyone has experience with this. Link: www.designgolv.com

Self-level the floor and treat it with, e.g., 2-component floor varnish
