Complain about flooring installation?
How late is too late to file a complaint about a flooring installation in a fully renovated space? We moved in a week ago and on our 45m2 we have found about 6 places where the laminate floor is "cracked" at the seams between the short sides. To the extent that it sticks up about 1mm above the edge of the next board. The floor is a good quality laminate. In one spot, the laminate has chipped and is completely gone over about 2x25mm. Additionally, the last board in the hallway is not properly clicked in along the entire long side, creating a large gap, about 3-5mm on the long side, and then a gap at the short end where it skews out, so to speak.
Another of the short sides that skews away is right where we have the dining table, and with small children, about 2 glasses of water have already been spilled over the area. It also sticks up enough that you catch it with the chair when trying to push it in toward the table.
They've also made a large ugly scratch across the floor, made a couple of deep dents in our brand new wood/aluminum windows, and also the patio door, etc.
Is it too little and too picky to file a complaint?

It is generally mentioned that a complaint should be made within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered the fault, and this typically means 2 months. However, you should not wait until it is almost 2 months but try to do it as soon as possible.M mushypeas said:

Under the kitchen table. Just noticed that it has already started to rise, as mentioned, the second glass of water spilled out yesterday but was immediately wiped up, of course.

Here is the laminate chipped off at the corner. If you walk over it with shoes, the rest of the surface at the corner will probably break off.

The seam where they haven't clicked the floor in is along a whole board.
As mentioned, there are 3 other places where it looks like they simply hammered the planks too hard so that the edge snapped upward.
