Have just laid 45*45 tiles with floating adhesive, have wiped the tiles with a sponge to remove the worst as I went along but the adhesive hasn’t dried yet so I can't walk on the tiles...there is still a small gray film on the tiles...can I go to sleep with peace of mind? Is it something that can be sponged off tomorrow once the adhesive has dried or will I be doing myself a disservice then? Grateful for help...

What about the grouting then? Grouted... let it dry, washed, washed, washed... the joints are not completely dry but the tiles are slightly gray-misted... what should I do now?... wash more?... sleep and wash tomorrow when the joints have dried?

If you use one of these (in the right way), there will be minimal gray when you're finished.

Yes, it is one I have used :)...any barn tips? Now there is very little gray...do you think it will disappear if I mop tomorrow?....

The thing is to first wash as usual. Then you finish by making one straight stroke with a rinsed washboard, but just one. Then rinse and make a new stroke. Keep doing that the whole time and it will be great.

So you mean that in the "slutvarvet" you clean with every pass...or?....how soon should you go over the joint after grouting, I always think I go over it too quickly....

The gray film you wipe off tonight or tomorrow with a dry terry towel, then vacuum up the dust debris.
