Recently finished plastering the walls in my future mancave/home theater.

The walls will be painted with something like silicate paint and dark tiles will be laid on the floor. But what should I do about the baseboard?

I don't want organic materials. The house is from '76 and has an uninsulated slab, so I have tried to build the rest of the room with that in mind.

So should I:
* Go without baseboards?
* Use split tiles as a baseboard (a bit of a laundry room vibe maybe??)
* Some other type of plastic baseboard, suggestions?
* Choose some type of baseboard in ceramic material, suggestions?

A room with freshly plastered walls, an unpainted ceiling, and a concrete floor. A vacuum, lights, a stool, and a broom are visible.

Would probably have done it without, there is no major wear and tear on the walls the times you clean there.

Cleaning?

Isn't it supposed to be a mancave? ;)

Start without moldings, then you can always add them later if you change your mind.

Yes, that's definitely an option. :)

If it is supposed to be a home theater room, it might be good to install a combined skirting board/cable duct.

Yep, that's so true, but I've embedded all the electricity in the ceiling and walls.:D
