Hello!
I recently bought a house and am now renovating the interior. I am currently working in what will be the future bedroom, and on one side of the room is the chimney breast with a layer of some kind of plaster on it. I had a vision to remove that layer to reveal the chimney breast and enhance it. However, I'm worried that too much of the mortar will come off if I remove it.
It's our first house, so I'm not particularly knowledgeable and learning as I go along. Do you have any tips and ideas?

What disappears/comes off when you remove the plaster or whatever it is on the chimney breast can easily be fixed later with some mortar.P Perineum said:Hi!

I had a vision to remove this layer to reveal the chimney breast and refine it. However, I'm worried that too much of the joints will come off if I remove it?
