Cast base for lamppost. Build a slight slope under lamppost?

As I mentioned, I have cast a hexagonal base in concrete for our lamppost. The lamppost stands a little above the base, and there I plan to apply a small slope so that water does not stand. It's about 1cm in thickness that gets thinner towards the edges. What material should I use to build this small slope? Can I use concrete or will it be too difficult to work with?

Housefix would probably work if you prime first. Concrete needs to be cast thicker.
