I think the craftsman should pay back parts of the sum, and that will resolve it. We'll see. I don't want to cause bankruptcy for anyone, a personal tragedy.

Behind the stove it's probably okay, but not nice. I wouldn't have done it that way...

Difficult to keep clean against the wall with rough edges and in deep compartments.
Who connected the stove? It might be a stiff cable - it should be a connection lead that is flexible so that it can be easily pulled forward for cleaning and such.
MOST IMPORTANT of all is that the cable is securely fastened; it should be firmly attached at both ends with strain reliefs.

Update, I have now submitted the report to ARN, requesting a refund of a certain amount. The processing time is quite long, but when the decision comes, I'll let you know what it is. In the meantime, I'm fixing the errors with help.

Good luck but there's a high risk that the craftsman won't care at all about what ARN says. Hope it won't be too expensive to fix his mistakes.

Thank you! It's not a lot of money, now it's mostly the principle. The craftsman came to fix mistakes and instead made things worse. ARN can blacklist companies. Plus, I've actually checked with a lawyer, the amount I want refunded is highly reasonable and I have consumer rights on my side.

We'll see, I hope no other renovation novice like me, who hires a company to ensure competence, experiences the same thing.
