Careless craftsman?
Of course, the company is responsible. I don't think I'm implying anything elseA andersmc said:
Well, it may seem obvious, but novices like me don't always know what margins a bubble in a spirit level should have in given situations. Sometimes there is room for margin. That's why we hire craftsmen. Have a nice day!Bölebon said:

I really hope you will soon get to see your first female carpenter, they do exist.S Snicklas said:
My experience with female craftsmen is that they are often more meticulous than their male colleagues

Who connected the stove? It might be a stiff cable - it should be a connection lead that is flexible so that it can be easily pulled forward for cleaning and such.
MOST IMPORTANT of all is that the cable is securely fastened; it should be firmly attached at both ends with strain reliefs.
Update, I have now submitted the report to ARN, requesting a refund of a certain amount. The processing time is quite long, but when the decision comes, I'll let you know what it is. In the meantime, I'm fixing the errors with help.
Thank you! It's not a lot of money, now it's mostly the principle. The craftsman came to fix mistakes and instead made things worse. ARN can blacklist companies. Plus, I've actually checked with a lawyer, the amount I want refunded is highly reasonable and I have consumer rights on my side.Jonatan79 said:
We'll see, I hope no other renovation novice like me, who hires a company to ensure competence, experiences the same thing.
