Hello,
When I built my house, I had glulam beams sticking out of the facade to form a balcony, but the quality manager said I had to cut them off because they absorbed moisture. Now there are no balconies, and the balcony doors open outward. The house is built with porous leka blocks. Is there any option to attach a free-standing balcony since I can't have a post due to the maxed-out building area? The red-marked areas in the attached image should be balconies.
I'm wondering if it's possible to drill in a steel beam on one side to support the entire structure and then use glulam with joist hangers?

The topic is not difficult to solve, but it depends on the construction of the wall: the thickness of the leka bricks, the type of facade, possible insulation of the walls and its type (mineral wool, polystyrene)

The house is made of ytong 365 blocks and it's a plaster facade. There is no insulation as it's ytong. What would you consider to be the best solution?
