I want to make my own moldings for the simple reason that those available on the market don't always fit. I have a Festool plunge saw with a guide rail that is very precise, so that part is no problem. I'm thinking of cutting the molding in about 18 mm MDF. Now to the problem. I want the molding to be slightly rounded so that it isn't sharp on the edge. I've attached a picture showing how. The rounding doesn't need to be large. I exaggerated a bit in the picture to make it clear. Can you use a router for this, and if so, how do you do it?

But if you already have a hand router, there are edge cutters with ball bearings that do the same job. That way, you don't have to buy another machine, even though I myself have bought a specific edge router for the purpose
Since I also plan to make my own floor moldings, but will start from planed pine (the floor is pine in our case).
