I was thinking of enclosing a pier foundation for the sunroom, and it would probably look best with something resembling the house foundation. I'm considering fiber cement boards or equivalent. But do they withstand being pressed into the ground, or do they soften and turn into wet biscuits? Any tips on something that works?

Replying to myself :)

"Cembrit Heavy Duty facade board is used outdoors on facades and plinths. The board can be buried in the ground without surface treatment without being negatively affected."

Good. Traditional mineritskiva works only indoors as far as I understand.

Later found this https://www.steni.se/produkter/sockelskivor/terra-by-steni/
A pure baseboard that is frost-resistant and waterproof.

"The baseboard Terra by Steni is also an excellent solution for covering the plinth foundation on houses, summer cottages, and verandas."

It should suit you well. I recall that it's "creatively" expensive, but maybe you don't need that many running meters?

"Kreativt dyr" was a phrase I'll take with me :)
But you're right, it won't take too much fortunately. It'll be our alternative summer project.
