1 sek = 2.3929 zloty

Edit: alright then I correct my mistake:
1 zloty = 2.3929 sek

Thanks Skopis, you're the man :D

PS. Multiply the zloty by 2.25=the price in Swedish kronor, just like Skopis wrote..... ;) DS.

Hi, thanks for your answers, where did you buy the Electrolux washer and dryer is the price for both therefore 3100 total, what type of bubble bath was it??

thanks in advance

Hello Everyone

The washing machine and dryer were bought at a Polish radio retail chain called RGT if I remember correctly, and it was both the washing machine and dryer for that price. The jacuzzi was of some Polish brand. There was an incredible range of jacuzzis, round, elongated, corner, square. The one the carpenter bought was an elongated one (170 centimeters long). My advice to everyone... GO DOWN and SHOP LIKE CRAZY, I only have positive things to say about this trip. The sad part is: What is happening to Sweden???

Best regards,
SKopis

Those of you who bought a garage door in Poland... How do you get it home???

Hörmann LPU40 is a sectional garage door that comes in a compact package (which is then assembled into a unit). In our case, we managed with a trailer whose bed was 20 cm longer than the width of the door. If you plan to buy a regular whole door, it naturally won't be as easy to transport it home on a car trailer :)

Castorama can offer home delivery to Sweden and it might be an economical option if you order several items and it’s possible to consolidate them on one or more pallets...

What did the gate cost? I also wonder if one can find prices on castorama's website, I can't manage to :'(

I hope someone with some interpretive ability can determine whether it's possible or not.

Unfortunately, you can't see any prices on their website.
Annoying >:(. You'd want to see the range and prices before heading out.

The zloty just seems to keep going up. Or is it the krona that is going down?

Best regards,

Hi Gaia!!!

You'll just have to trust us who've recently been there, see it as a little trip and a break from everyday life, and then it's a BIG + for everything you purchase and bring home, but I can promise you that you won't be disappointed, because the range is enormous whether you're shopping for building materials, home decor, or clothes. What I saw down there 2 weeks ago makes all the shopping centers in the Gothenburg area look like trash.

Best regards,
Skopis

The Polish currency (PLN) fluctuates continuously against the Swedish krona (SEK) - something to consider when calculating potential savings by traveling to Poland for shopping.

If I recall correctly, the exchange rate was around 2 SEK for one PLN around the turn of the year. Two weeks ago, the rate was up to 2.35 SEK for one PLN. Currently, according to Forex, it's 2.27 SEK for one PLN.

Forex states today in their currency forecast (=advanced guess) "Polish Prime Minister resigns in May. Political unrest ahead of upcoming elections weakens PLN." So if you're planning to go shopping, you might get lucky this spring as it becomes cheaper for Swedes to shop in Poland.

Can you use both Mastercard and Visa or do you exchange to cash and shop with it in Poland?
