Buy steel online?

Anyone know where you can buy steel online? Tibnor has a good selection and has what I need in their webshop, but it is only open to business customers...

My local hardware store has it, doesn't yours?
I have a business, but Tibnor doesn't want to deliver because the shipping cost becomes too high, so I usually place a joint order with a slightly larger company.

My "local" hardware store is several miles away and I don't have a vehicle to transport long lengths myself. I imagined it would be smarter to have it delivered from someone who specializes in minimizing the number of intermediaries, but perhaps there is no such option. I found one in Jönköping that also delivered to private individuals, but unfortunately, it was only sheet metal.

Flat iron and pipes primarily. It just occurred to me that my tinsmith might be able to get it for me.

The big catch, as mentioned, is the shipping. Wholesalers usually only sell whole lengths, and I don't think there's a huge market for some webshop sales to private individuals, so the easiest solution is probably to find a local supplier who might also be able to cut to transportable dimensions.

As soon as there's length on goods, it becomes a special agreement, and you'll never get one if you're sending a small amount, and no one is interested in a setup where the pipe costs 79 kr and the shipping 595 kr either..........

Good range and good service, but very expensive to shop there as a private person without discounts.
