I have a jötul 620 FRL that I am planning to build in. The idea was to place calcium silicate boards on top, but there isn't really a good support for them. This cast iron edge is not as sturdy as I thought. How do you do it?

Hi!
I'm planning to do the same thing with a Jøtul 620 FH
How did it go for you?
Do you have any good tips?
No good sense, I was surprised at how very light the calcium silicates are and placed them on the edge anyway. Probably the plaster is a bigger concern. [image]
Nice, I will make one that looks like an old open fireplace, the tricky part is that it should jut out like a screen in front of the stove Are the panels resting directly on the stove?
