How do you build with steel studs in, for example, a basement?

I'm thinking of the studs that are placed against the basement wall. How do you screw the profiles on the inside?

Hello.

You screw them with sheet metal screws / assembly screws on the outside. They feel very flimsy but become more stable when the panels go up. I myself chose to have steel tracks then wooden studs instead of metal.

Best regards, Alexander.

Yes, I understand that, but how do you do it from the other side? It's a bit difficult to access from the back when the studs are against the basement wall.

You just screw the vertical studs through the horizontal tracks (at the floor and ceiling) on one side; from inside the room.

Aha so you don't usually unscrew from the "other side".

Oh well, then I've created a problem that doesn't exist... quite common :)
