I am planning to build a storage on the backside of the garage and currently in the planning stage.

Is it possible to construct the frame using 45x70 studs in some way and make it hold? I have unlimited access to 45x70 studs and am thinking of trying to build the storage as cheaply as possible.

The storage dimensions will be approximately
Length 4m
Depth 1.5m
Height 2-2.4m

Yes, everything is possible. Whether you need to take any specific measures depends on the intended roof (and snow load). A wall with 70x45 studs reinforced with boards should become sufficiently stable for the small shed. However, you might need to open your wallet for the roof trusses.

On Träguiden, you can find lots of good information and sizing tables for different constructions.

Properly braced, a 45x70 regla can handle large loads. Träguiden is a good tip. Choose Träguiden/Construction/Dimensioning/Dimensioning values and load-bearing capacity.

Bump!

Same question but for a sauna. Is it okay to build approximately 4x4 meters with 70 studs, but with a heart wall in the middle that goes all the way up to the ridge?

So it becomes about two-meter long studs from ridge to outer wall as the roof.

Snow zone Norrbotten. Want to use 70 studs to insulate with 70mm feels like it's enough.

If you are going to use 45*70 as a roof truss in Norrbotten, I think you need to build a steeply sloped roof.

No, I'm wondering about the wall, the roof truss/beam can be stronger but I'm specifically thinking about the walls.

No problems with three-inch timber in the wall, you could even increase the stud distance to 120cm if you have panel or sheet material on both sides.
