Miister - no, then we wouldn't have found the room. Unless we got so thirsty that we started feeling around wardrobe walls at random. I don't remember how the door itself was constructed or if I even thought about it, but somehow it opened when you stepped on the "floor," which of course wasn't a floor but a carefully placed plank with a special purpose. d^_^b

I thought they were a bit transparent. Not too common? To have built-in bookshelves. There surely are, but not in every home. If I knew there was a secret room, I would have checked the shelves first. But if you didn't know, maybe it would have worked.imported_hans said:

We have placed an older mirror on the door down to the pantry that fits the door perfectly, so you have to open the mirror to get down into our fritzel basement
