Planning to build an entry staircase to our Smålandsvilla Gränna in the style of this:

White wooden house with black roof, surrounded by greenery. In front, a small patio area with outdoor furniture and potted plants.

with the potential to eventually build (or hire a carpenter to build) a porch in a year or so if I feel the need then, in the style of:
A white wooden house with black roof and a small porch. There are windows with shutters and a patio with chairs and a table.

My question is if I need to consider anything special when building the stairs? The current foundation is well-compacted drainage material and we plan to lay stones around the stairs.

Is it sufficient to place the stairs on paving stones, or do I need concrete footings? The base size is intended to be about 3500 mm wide and 1500 mm deep, with a height of 300-350 mm (one step + platform).

Should I attach it with a ledger board to the facade since I'm considering a porch in the future? (we have horizontal cladding just like in the picture)

Or should I simply see it as two separate projects and redo the stairs when building the porch?
