I am soon going to build a storage for garden tools etc. in my carport. It should have paneling on the outside so that it looks like the house itself, but what should I use for the interior wall? Is some type of OSB board good? I want a covering wall so it will be easier to hang things on it. Construction plywood is noticeably more expensive.

You don't need to have any inner wall at all.
It's common not to have one in simple storage sheds where appearance isn't a priority.

To attach hooks and holders for tools, you can put up a horizontal board at an appropriate height.

In the old storage that is going to be demolished, I have no inner walls, and it looks quite dull... Even though, of course, I can put shelves and larger hooks on the studs, there will be smooth walls where dirt doesn't stick as easily.
So, is an OSB board from Byggmax a good choice, or should I choose construction plywood?

I also don't understand why one would want to have inner walls in that type of storage. It becomes smaller, costs more, and often I think it's an advantage to have the hook those 50 mm out from the wall. But that's just me, and of course, you should be able to do as you wish, so I thought I'd try to be a bit constructive.

OSB- I think would be a poor choice, as the storage will follow the outdoor air's, sometimes rapid, changes in humidity and temperature, and I believe there are better alternatives than OSB. But I'm no expert...

Can't you use glespanel or råspont?

Can't you install sparse paneling or raw wood?
Great suggestion!

Raw wood is cheap and fits in a rustic environment.
17 mm is plenty.

If you absolutely want interior paneling.

OSB actually looks very unnatural, and doesn't get a good surface in an environment that can be a bit damp.

Ok, thank you for your posts! I'll have to give this some thought.
