Considering using cold bluing for a project but can't seem to find what's actually in the product I have in mind.

Does anyone know, maybe someone who has seen the back of this product and knows what it says?

Bottle of Birchwood Casey Super Blue Liquid Gun Blue, used for bluing steel, with a white cap and blue label displaying product name and details.

I have tried that product, and you might as well use narvsvärta; it has just as poor an effect as that product on metal surfaces.

When doing a proper bluing, you force a chemical reaction using various chemicals. Cold bluing is more like painting the surface with volatile paint.

Are you aware of the ingredients?

Rickard.
