Beams in the ceiling? Remove or not?
I want to open up my small hallway by removing the ceiling and opening up a nearby staircase.
This hallway is located in the middle of the house on one of the long sides. In the ceiling, there are two beams that stretch from long side to long side with a cc 400mm; in other parts of the house, it is cc 800. One of the beams rests closest on a wall about 2 meters from the outer wall, and the other would then rest on a wall about 4-5 meters away. The question is whether it's possible to remove these two beams in some way?
Grateful for answers and ideas!

Don't quite understand your description.
Regarding building permits. You will need to submit a building notification because you are altering a load-bearing structure.

To answer whether it's possible to remove these "balkar," you might need to explain a bit more! Are they floor joists or the bottom chord of a truss?
Can't you include a drawing of the house or sketches of what you want to do?
A safer way is to contact a structural engineer who can look on-site and come up with a solution.
