Hi, you who know everything.
I'm looking to unload some roof beams and found this on the plot.
Is it what I think it is - i.e. something you temporarily put in place to support something, and can be raised/lowered as needed?
Right now the feet (the ones I assumed you could raise with) are very tightly stuck and cannot be screwed by hand at least. Should they be able to screw... with a little more force?
No idea, but the beam combined with two or three supports should do the trick, right?
Absolutely, I can do that if the legs (hopefully the built-in "supports") don't work.
But... if anyone has tips on how I can use this gadget correctly, please feel free to write something .
You can thus extend these legs to make it a "pi".
The legs are approximately just over 2m long. With small feet that I cannot twist - at least with hand power. Is it the leg or the foot that one should twist?
Edit: Handle in the middle of each leg, see upper picture. Also cannot be twisted with hand power. Feels like one should twist there. Perhaps a sledgehammer?
Tested with the support now. One leg works to twist - counterclockwise=longer leg
However, the other has rusted (?) stuck. Lots of rust remover on it now.
The feet are loose, but they don't have an up/down function, they should just stand fixed on the floor when you twist the legs, I assume.
