Basement renovation in a house from 1966

Hello dear experienced people!
I have just removed all the wallpaper from the concrete wall in our basement rec room to paint with diffusion-open paint, but the problem is that the plaster on the walls is not very smooth. I want it as smooth as possible before I start painting. Does anyone have a good tip on how to get the walls as smooth as possible? If so, which plaster or cement-based filler should be used that also needs to be diffusion-open?

I would use gipsbruk, gypsum is one of the various brands.

I used

weber wall plaster fine​

Works well. Otherwise, call weber directly and ask about suitable plaster.
