yes will do! :) Bought 2 pieces of 19 mm MDF, which I will cut grooves into with a circular saw. Bought rawspont to use as a "frame" and have now cut off the tongue and groove on all pieces.

Was at Byggmax for probably 1 hour and thought through all possible combinations and which would be the cheapest/best. In the end, it was MDF and rawspont. :)

the dimensions of the MDF boards are h: 240, w: 59.5, thickness 1.9. all in cm. I will make two doors that are 55 cm wide and about 210 cm high. Then there will be wrought iron hinges. But pictures will come when I get started in earnest.

Good solution!

Anyone have tips on how to make the tracks good? Is it just about adjusting the saw depth and running the blade once to make a track? Or should I set the angle of the saw and run it twice to get a V-shaped groove?

Narrow wooden door with unfinished frame, featuring diagonal support beams. Hangers and clothes visible in the adjacent closet.
The door became very stable, it might not quite match this pattern as the door is very narrow. We'll see what the wife thinks and how it looks when it's fully painted + with hinges! :)

Now it's just to make another one

now they are finished.
Close-up of newly crafted wooden cabinet doors with black handles, showing craftsmanship details.
White wooden double doors with black hinges and an X design, viewed from a hallway. A chair is placed nearby, partially visible in the foreground.

I'm quite satisfied with the end result. The last time I did any carpentry was in woodshop class about 10 years ago, except for some small projects around the house recently...

That turned out really well! Outshines all the ready-made options from IKEA etc.
