Hello
Has anyone bought B-grade paneling and can share their experience?
It's about half the price. But it's unfortunate if you regret it afterward.
In our case, we are planning to use it on the slanted ceiling up to the ridge.

As you say. Half the price and in my case, 10 - 20% waste depending on how long pieces you need.

Are you satisfied?

I have bought some second-grade. The "defects" that usually occur are that there are more knots and some dry knots with cracks/holes. If you use the same quality over the entire surface, I don't think it matters.

Very much. The good ones were good. The bad ones were bad. It's not more complicated than that. Then, of course, every batch is different.

Yes, okay, so you sorted out 10-20% 👍
Where did you buy it?

It was a long time ago, but the principle is surely the same. To avoid work, the hardware store sells them cheaper. Buy a few extra bundles so you have them in reserve.

Also buy interior details like doors and cabinets in second sorting. So far, there have been barely noticeable defects.

We are considering buying from Kindsbygden.
Where did you buy from? What other companies sell b-grade products?

I have bought spruce flooring in Kindsbygden's B-selection. Very satisfied. Some through knots and blemishes, but I choose to see it as giving the floor more character. In short, completely satisfied.

Great! Thanks Kmnelhas 😊👍
