Built a Willab Garden house 25 M[SUP]2 framework in wood, not impregnated. The builder placed the frames 5"x 5" on tar paper on the concrete and tiled the floor around it. After one winter, I see this cannot be right, as moisture creeps into the lower parts of the frames and up into the supporting structure, which cracks and the paint peels off.

Base of a wooden frame in a Willab Garden house shows signs of moisture damage; paint peeling and wood splitting on tiled floor.
Peeling and water-damaged wooden post base on tiled floor near glass door, showing cracks and paint loss due to moisture exposure.

I have sprayed exposed areas with chlorine to prevent mold, but I'm unsure how to best ensure the longevity of the posts that support the entire structure. The posts probably should have been set in a metal shoe or on a pedestal to elevate them from the concrete floor.

On the backside of the house, I have installed window sills that extend 5 cm over concrete outside the house facade, so there’s no issue there, but the front has 50cm of flooring in front of the house, slightly drained but water still splashes up onto the framework and down onto the floor.

Any clever technician with a smart lasting solution?
