I have installed sliding doors where there used to be 3 old wardrobes. We chose to mount the sliding doors a little further out into the room to maintain the depth inside the sliding doors. Now, a strip needs to be installed on one side so that you cannot see into the wardrobe, but I'm unsure how to attach it at the bottom.
At the top, it can be fastened to the beam that we set up for the ceiling track.
If the wall and the strip were 100% straight, gluing might have sufficed, but now it needs to be attached better to look good.
The strip is 2.8cm wide and 7cm deep and is thus placed at the corner of the wall, which is made of lightweight concrete.
Does anyone have any tips?
There will be a baseboard at the floor, maybe a fastening solution that can be hidden behind the baseboard can be made?
You can support with a bit of glue on the back as well, but a few such brackets will hold without issue.
If you're really diligent, you can recess them and putty over.
