Asfaboard or plasterboard?

What should be used for the facade? Asfaboard or gypsum?

What are the respective advantages and disadvantages?

Price difference?

In the past, only Asfaboard was used, but nowadays it's mostly gypsum...

So gypsum doesn't burn and asfaboard is easier to handle... and about the same price... It doesn't make it easier to choose.
Are there no other pros and cons? Which one is denser, for example?

I prefer the asfaboard because it is easier to share and also easier to carry...

I prefer plaster because it is easier to divide, just score and break. And it feels more stable.

If it's not absolutely necessary to have sheet material, wind barriers are excellent. Not paper, but the new barriers. Just roll it out and staple it, and presto, it's wind and weatherproof, though you should/must brace a little instead.
