Hello!

I'm planning to tear out a couple of closets and install an Elfa system instead.

What's the best approach in this situation?

Install the hanging rail at ceiling height and anchor it in the beam running along the ceiling?

Or

Place it a few decimeters down and try to hit the studs in the wall?

Or

Try to anchor in the drywall with the help of molly bolts or similar? What holds best?

It needs a few cm free above the track for the tracks to hang.

I would have tried to hit the studs.

Edit: was thinking of another track, don't mind my answer. I would have probably placed it at the top if it makes things easier. Just make sure the hanging tracks are long enough.

Thanks. Yes, the stud along the ceiling is easiest to hit, it is there. My rails are 2300mm, I had this in mind when I bought them but want to be sure I'm not making a mistake in any way.

I will have two lengths of clothing rod which, in addition to being in the elfa system, will have the ends anchored on the short sides of the space as support for the wall.
