Those who were with us and renovated the bathroom recommended that we build an insulated cabinet around the water pump and water heater primarily for insurance in case something happens. They are now unprotected in the basement, which is cold and quite damp. They are in an interior door in the middle of the basement against the chimney.
I would need some advice on how to best build it. Is it enough to frame it up and insulate between panel boards and put on a frost guard? Should there be any plastic in between?
