My front door is hanging crooked in such a way that the rubber seal (is it called a gasket?) catches on the frame, which makes it difficult to open/close the door (and the rubber seal gets torn). An exaggerated schematic figure of the problem: Schematic diagram showing a misaligned door with an exaggerated tilt, illustrating a common door hinge alignment issue.

How do I adjust the door to fix this? The hinges look like this: Close-up of a door hinge with screws labeled A, B, and C in blue, red, and green, respectively, showing where to adjust for door alignment issues.
where I assume that screws of type A are for fastening the hinge to the frame, B is frame screw (?) and C is used to adjust the door vertically. So it should be B that I should screw on, right?

/ all thumbs (so far)

If the frame is straight, you can adjust the hinges slightly.

I don't understand if the picture shows the hinge on the door or the frame, but it doesn't matter that much.

First, check that the arm on the hinge side is vertical.
Then I would adjust the top hinge with a hinge adjuster

Karmskruv is a type of screw that secures the frame to the wall. It shouldn't go through the hinge.

The part you've marked with C, isn't that just a cover cap? I've never seen that it can be adjusted. If you want to raise the door, it's usually washers, but this might be some new thing I'm not familiar with.

My front door can be adjusted in height with C, so it probably is a "new innovation" :-)

Thanks for the response, here are the follow-up questions:

The picture might not have been the clearest, but it's the frame on the left and the door leaf on the right in the picture.

To be completely clear, do I need to remove the door to adjust with a hinge adjuster? In which direction should I bend on the door and the frame?

Yes, what I marked with C is a cover cap, but under it there's a screw to adjust the door height-wise.

A small pondering, is it the door or the frame that is crooked?

Check by measuring the diagonals.
Maybe both are crooked in different directions...

Thanks, I will look into this when I get home. But according to this method, it's the frame screws that should be adjusted rather than bending the hinges.

The last resort is to adjust the hinges, start by adjusting with the frame screw first, and if that doesn't work, proceed to the hinges.

You can unscrew B and screw in C in the upper hinge to move the door in the direction you want.

New modern doors should never be adjusted by bending the hinges. There are enough adjustment possibilities without using such methods. If these adjustments are not sufficient, the door is undoubtedly improperly installed.

Du kan skruva ut B och skruva in C i det övre gångjärnet för att på så sätt flytta dörren åt det håll du vill.
Thank you, I tried this and it helped partially. When I measured diagonally to see if it was the frame or the door that was crooked, I also discovered that the frame bulges inward in the middle so that it looks like this )| |(. I suppose I should adjust this with the frame screws (at the level where the problem is). If I want the frame closer to the wall, should I tighten or loosen the frame screw? I could make logical arguments for both :)

If you want to have the frame closer to the wall, you should turn the sleeve in the frame screw counterclockwise.

Those hinges are impossible to bend, far too thick.
You adjust the door sideways with those screws (torx), I've encountered that several times, that they are stuck tight.
I then loosened the hinge and hit the back of the two plates with a hammer, try with a torx screwdriver to see if it's possible to turn it.
