Acoustic panel - on or behind baseboards?

Hello,

I'm in the process of renovating at home. I'm installing wall panels, including acoustic panels, and laying flooring.

The acoustic panels have gaps between the slats, so placing a baseboard in front seems odd.

Is the idea to mount them on top of the baseboards?

It entirely depends on how you want it to look. You can skip the skirting board completely and bring the panel down towards the floor (with appropriate movement allowance).
