Is it difficult to move windows to a new location?

The reason is that we are considering remodeling a bit and will need to move some windows. For example, new holes need to be made in the wall where windows will then be installed, etc. Can one manage this oneself assuming one is reasonably handy? And if so, how? Do you just take the frame's construction measurements and start cutting with a reciprocating saw or what? Isn't there a risk that the wall is "load-bearing" or something? What and how do you do then?

Many questions but oh so important if you want to save some money. Otherwise, we could hire someone for the whole project but it becomes terribly expensive since we also plan to hire for the actual expansion. Or rather inbuilding. We have a patio that is currently built-in under the existing roof structure in the corner of the house, you could say. We're thinking of using this for a new room of about 15 sqm. Externally, it will be the smallest intervention on the house. Admittedly, a new patio will have to be built, but nevertheless.

By the way, what do you think it might cost to hire for the construction of the foundation and 2 new load-bearing exterior walls, as well as an insulated floor and roof? We are planning to do all the interior work ourselves.
