a bit too loose adhesive

Standing with a bucket of slightly too loose adhesive and wondering if it can enormously affect how well the tile adheres if it's accidentally a bit too loose?

Is there no risk that the adhesive mass shrinks too much when it dries and detaches from the tile?

okay.. ended up placing two tiles and threw away the rest..thanks anyway.

Have not tested on fix but as for mortar, it's fine to throw in a brick in the mix and let it absorb some of the moisture. Might be worth trying if it happens again and if there's no opportunity to mix it with more dry mortar.

Okay...thanks for the tip! I'll keep that in mind. Should work with fix too, I think.
