Hello.
I'm in the process of tearing down interior walls in two rooms where there was tretex. I will insulate and put up OSB, drywall, and install new electrical wiring.
The problem is that the studs in the walls are 55mm and are spaced very irregularly. I was thinking of putting in new studs with 60cm centers, but that leaves me with either 45x45 or 45*70. 70 is too thick and with 45 there will be a gap behind if I set them at the front.

How would you do it? The panels on the "back side" are still in place towards the other room.

Can't you attach a part of a board measuring 45x45 to the side where it is missing? A strip of osb or plyfa.

Yes, of course I could do that!

There are fine circular saws that in a snap change a 70 mm beam to 55 mm. Or you can place the OSB boards horizontally to avoid the problem of different distances a bit. Protte

You can saw a thin strip of OSB that you place behind the boards at the joint.

Screw into existing studs.

Awesome, thanks for all the answers!
