45x70 seems to be the standard for studs in non-load bearing interior walls. We have a wall in the summer cottage with 50x50 studs where we were planning to install a kitchen (a total of 2 meters with upper cabinets). Is it stable enough?

The wall will be covered with 12mm plywood and 13mm gypsum.

If you glue the plywood to both sides of the studs, it feels like it should be enough. What is stopping you from taking down the wall and building a new, more stable one?

Nothing really, except that I would have to tear down the entire wall. It would have been nice to avoid that and just put plywood and plasterboard on the studs. ;)

I spontaneously felt that it would take a lot for a 2-meter wall to collapse from three 60 wall cabinets, but maybe it could happen?

it will undoubtedly hold, I don't even think you need to glue the flyis, just screw properly.
