Hello!

How is the joint on the floor?
On some cheap floors, it is of a too weak construction, and then the floor installer is less satisfied.
Guarantees together with waterborne underfloor heating?
Is it nice (even in lacquer, no repairs)?
I haven't seen their floors yet, it will be sometime next week.

We bought 14 mm oak parquet flooring at K-rauta for 229 SEK/sqm, I think the manufacturer was Upofloor from Finland. We bought this flooring for the entire upper floor, the carpenters thought it was great to install. On the ground floor, we have oak parquet from Tarkett, not much difference. However, there is more "character" in the flooring on the upper floor, knot marks.

The knot is somewhat so-so, but it can be managed. It's very consistent in quality, not a single patch or ugly plank have we found on 100m2, but as mentioned, the banana shape of certain planks could make one break down.

Hi Annika. You write that you bought flooring from Upofloor. What did you use under the floor? For soundproofing and moisture barrier. I see that Upofloor has something called Tupoflex, did you use that material?

We installed the floor on the upper level and laid floor foam from Tarkett over the floor chipboards.
