Hi,

(posted this under the topic "stone house" a few days ago - no replies)

I looked at how a certain house company builds its exterior walls. 100mm light concrete + 190mm insulation + 100mm brick. The light concrete is the only load-bearing part and it spontaneously feels a bit thin. Now, I'm not a structural engineer, and admittedly, the construction has been strength calculated, and the company is well-established, but still. Others who build solely with light concrete use 350-450mm for exterior walls (admittedly for insulation reasons), and there is a noticeable difference.

Am I worrying unnecessarily?

Good question. Does anyone know how much load 100mm lightweight concrete can handle? I've been wondering about this myself. Since I already own a house with exactly such exterior walls...
Moreover, I have plans to furnish the attic, which will lead to increased load on the exterior walls as the roof structure and intermediate joists become heavier.

So, two who want to know! Can someone answer?
